The Robot Who Learned to Share

aurora

Toto had shiny new batteries. He ran so fast that children said, Toto is faster than the wind! But his friend Kubo — an older robot — went tick-tick-tick, moving slowly. His batteries were weak. Race day arrived at the playground. The whistle blew — PHEEP! Toto zoomed ahead like lightning. But when he glanced back... Kubo had stopped halfway! His battery was dying. The light in his eyes was fading. Toto's feet stopped all by themselves. Victory or friend? He pulled out one of his shiny batteries and handed it to Kubo. Kubo's eyes lit up again! Hand in hand, they finished the race together — dead last, but the happiest of all! The field erupted in applause. The teacher announced: Today's real winner is Toto! He chose friendship over victory. Toto's chest swelled with pride — this happiness was sweeter than winning! The next week Kubo repaired his old battery and gifted it to Toto, with a note: For a true friend. They hugged and laughed together. Dear children, have you ever given away something you loved? Then you know — the joy of sharing is the biggest joy of all. Moral: Those who share never lose happiness — it only grows.
