The Robot Who Said Sorry
aurora
In a factory worked a clever robot — Fixo. He could fix anything, but there was one thing he never did: admit a mistake! If a part broke, he said, Not my fault! If paint spilled, he said, Not my fault! It was his favorite sentence.
One day, rushing about, he broke little Zainab's delicate toy — CRACK! Tears welled in Zainab's eyes. Fixo instantly said, Not my fault! But something pricked him inside. His cooling fan spun wildly — whirr whirr! — as if his heart was shouting: Liar! Liar!
That night Fixo replayed his memory. The picture was clear: the fault was his. His metal head bowed with shame. In the morning he went to Zainab and said in a small voice, Forgive me. It was my fault. I will fix your toy.
Fixo worked all night — joining, painting, polishing. By morning the toy looked even more beautiful than before! Zainab cheered with joy: You are the best robot ever! The lights in Fixo's eyes danced with happiness.
The factory owner praised him: Only one who admits mistakes is a true craftsman. That day Fixo changed his favorite sentence. Now he says: Made a mistake? Just say sorry!
Dear children, saying sorry feels hard, doesn't it? But believe me — afterward your heart feels as light as clouds parting after rain.
Moral: Apologizing is not weakness — it is the greatest bravery.
