Ali and the Garden's Tiny Workers

Ali lived with his grandmother, Dadi, in a house with a small kitchen garden behind it. Dadi grew tomatoes, mint, and bright red chillies there. Ali liked playing football, but the garden bored him.

"Too slow, Dadi," Ali said one day. "Nothing happens here."

Dadi smiled. "Come with me tomorrow morning. Bring your magnifying glass."

The next morning, Ali followed Dadi into the garden with his magnifying glass. Dadi bent down near a tomato plant. "Look closely," she whispered.
