Tom, Priya and the Wobbly Bridge

Tom, Priya, and Noah had a plan. Across the little stream behind their houses lay the sunny meadow, the very best place for a picnic. They had packed sandwiches, juicy oranges, and a blanket with red checks.

But when they reached the stream that Saturday morning, their hearts sank. The little wooden bridge had broken in last night's rain. Two planks were missing, and one plank wobbled like a loose tooth.
