The Thankful Window

Mila loved visiting her Grandma June. Grandma's house had a big round window in the kitchen, and every evening, just before dinner, they would stand at the window together and play a special game.

"Name three good things from today," Grandma would say. "The game is called The Thankful Window."

Some days it was easy. On a sunny day, Mila named the warm sunshine, the ice cream truck's happy song, and the neighbor's dog wagging its tail at her.
