Pip's Promise and Mrs. Fern's Garden

Pip was seven years old, and he had a big job for the very first time. His neighbour, kind old Mrs. Fern, was going away for five days. Before she left, she knocked on Pip's door and said, "Pip, will you water my plants while I'm gone? They need water every evening, or they will get thirsty."
