Bijo the Robot Gardener and the Seed of Patience

aurora

In the middle of the city lived a robot gardener — Bijo. He did everything at lightning speed: sweeping, watering, fertilizing, all in seconds! One day he planted an apple seed, covered it with soil, watered it... and the very next moment shouted: Where is the tree?! Old Granny burst out laughing: Bijo! A tree is not a pizza — it doesn't get ready in two minutes! Bijo scratched his head. Then what? Granny said: It needs water, sunshine, and most of all — patience. Patience? Bijo blinked. What kind of fertilizer is that? Granny explained: patience means working hard every day and waiting. So every morning Bijo watered the little plant, softened its soil, and even chatted with it: Grow big, little friend! The children giggled: Bijo talks to plants! One day a fierce wind bent the tiny sprout. Bijo panicked, but Granny said, Don't panic — support it. Bijo tied a wooden stick beside it. The plant stood straight again — as if saying, Thank you, friend! Months passed. Leaves came, flowers bloomed, and after a year... shiny red apples hung from the branches! Bijo danced with joy: My apples! My apples! He gave the first apple to Granny and said, Today I learned — fruit comes not from hurrying, but from patience. Dear children, have you ever planted a seed? Then be patient — nature knows its work. Moral: With hard work and patience, every seed becomes a tree.
