The Dream-Making Machine

aurora

Little Ayesha had scary dreams every night. She had started fearing bedtime itself. Then one day her mother brought home a glowing machine: Meet Sapna — the dream-maker! Before sleep, Sapna opened her menu: Your order, please! Flying dream? Ocean dream? Or fairy-palace dream? Ayesha's eyes sparkled: Flying one! Sapna played soft music: Close your eyes... three... two... one... Ayesha looked — she had wings! She rode the clouds, chatted with the moon: Brother Moon, why are you so round? The moon chuckled. Then she danced with the stars — twinkling stars, twirling Ayesha! She woke up beaming: Mummy! That was so much fun! After that, every night brought a new dream — a sea voyage, a fairy palace. The scary dreams? They ran away and never came back! Every morning Ayesha drew her dream in a little notebook, so she would never forget it. One night Ayesha said, Sapna, tonight I'LL show YOU a dream! She held Sapna in her lap and told a lovely story. Sapna's light twinkled with joy. So dear children, which dream will YOU choose tonight? Close your eyes... and dream sweet dreams. Goodnight! Moral: Good thoughts bring good dreams.
